Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown unit in Tennessee. The role requires a TN or compact license, BLS/ACLS, and travel nursing experience. Two references and supporting documents are required.

The position is day shift, 3x12 hours, with every-other-weekend work and no on-call duties. Travel pay eligibility applies to candidates outside a 50-mile radius, with Paragon charting used for documentation and Epic implementation window noted.

Qualifications

• Active TN or compact RN license is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Two references required; pending references accepted at time of consideration.
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Stepdown unit of a hospital setting.
• Patient ratio of 5:1.
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 to 19:00.
• Required to work every other weekend.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Uses Paragon charting system.
• No RTO permitted from 2/08/27 through 3/31/27 due to an Epic implementation.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for travel pay rate.
• Travel pairs are welcome to apply.
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position.
