Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Washington. The role requires cardiac drip titration and management experience, with Epic EMR proficiency. First-time travelers are welcome.

You will work a night shift (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00) with 1:4-5 patient ratios and may float within the state. Eligible travelers receive housing allowances, benefits, and licensure reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• PCU/Stepdown with 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio.

• Every other weekend requirement; no on-call.
• May float to Telemetry or Medical-Surgical floors as needed.
• Travelers may float between facilities within WA state.

Responsibilities

• Short Term Acute Care, Level II Trauma Center, and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center teaching hospital setting
• PCU/Stepdown unit with patient ratios of 1:4-5
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:00)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• 48-hour work weeks approved
• May float to Telemetry or Medical-Surgical floors, with travelers prioritized for floating when overstaffed
• Uses Epic EMR
• Candidates may choose to work either Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday, not both
• All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state as needed
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not be within 50 miles of the facility
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrub color for RNs is open (any color)
