American Traveler is seeking an RN for a PCU/ICU Stepdown unit in North Dakota. The role requires ICU experience and an active ND state or compact RN license, with BLS/ACLS certification.

You will work 12-hour day/night rotations on a full-time schedule, with 72 hours per two-week pay period and no float. Responsibilities include telemetry, ventilator/BIPAP management, IV starts, and collaboration with a care team.

Formación

• Active ND State or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year ICU experience required
• Completion of a basic cardiology class for nurses required
• Knowledge of cardiac-related medications and rhythm analysis required
• Previous experience caring for BIPAP patients required

Responsabilidades

• Acute care PCU/ICU stepdown unit with 23 beds, combined Med/Surg/ICU
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:1-3 in ICU depending on census and patient needs
• Performs telemetry monitoring, dressing changes, ventilator/BIPAP management, and IV starts
• Uses Epic EMR, Omnicell medication system, Liko and EZ lifts, Alaris IV pumps, and Nova Statstrip blood glucose monitors
• 12-hour shifts on a day/night rotation including weekends
• Full-time schedule of 72 hours per two-week pay period with variable days Sunday through Saturday
• No floating required
• Coordinates total nursing care for patients of all ages using the nursing process
• Provides patient and family teaching and leadership within the care team
• One week of hospital and department orientation provided
• Dress code requires black scrubs
• Accepts local candidates
• Travelers with prior employment at this facility must disclose it for consideration
