American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit with 2+ years of nursing experience and current BLS/ACLS certifications. The role is a 13-week assignment on a 28-bed unit, with day shifts 06:45–19:15 and a diverse patient population including medical, cardiac, and stroke overflow cases.

Candidates must have an active IN or compact RN license, Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start, and be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (IN or compact) required.
• Current BLS certification through AHA required.
• Current ACLS certification through AHA required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start.
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address.

Responsibilities

• Progressive Cardiac Care unit with 28 beds.
• Patient population includes medical, cardiac, pre/post CV surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, and stroke overflow cases.
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5.
• Day shift schedule from 06:45-19:15.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Provide telemetry and progressive cardiac care to a diverse patient population including cardiac, surgical, and stroke overflow cases.
• Candidates should begin discussing extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date.
• COVID vaccination is not required.
• Local candidates are accepted, though a radius rule may apply affecting pay rate eligibility.
