American Traveler is seeking a qualified RN to join a 30-bed Stroke Unit in a Progressive Care setting for a night shift. The position requires 2+ years of nursing experience, an active IN or compact RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and NIH Stroke Scale certification.

Nursys verification is needed within 30 days prior to start. Responsibilities include direct patient care on a stroke/stepdown unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.

American Traveler is hiring a Progressive Care Unit RN for a night shift stepdown position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active IN or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Current ACLS certification from AHA
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US home address required

Responsibilities

• Work in a 30-bed dedicated Stroke Unit within a Progressive Care Unit
• Patient population includes Medical, DKA, Cardiac, GI, Renal, Sepsis, Trauma, and Surgery cases
• 1:4 nurse to patient ratio
• Night shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15
• 13-week assignment length
• Provide direct patient care in a progressive/stepdown stroke care setting
• Travelers should begin discussing extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before the assignment end date
• Submission limited to one Ascension position system wide
• Radius rule applies and may affect pay rate for local candidates, with specific mileage varying by state
