American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Wisconsin. Candidates must hold a WI or Compact RN license and have at least 2 years of recent med/surg and PCU experience.

The position requires BLS and ACLS, knowledge of Cerner EMR, and a willingness to work night shifts with a 3x12 schedule and weekend rotations. Travel housing is provided, and candidates must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility.

Formación

• Active RN license in WI or Compact required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent med/surg and PCU RN experience.
• Inpatient RN travelers must have 2 years acute care in last 3 years.
• First-time travelers must have at least 3 years of hybrid unit experience.
• Must pass telemetry exam with 80%+ passing criteria.
• Cerner EMR experience required.

Responsabilidades

• PCU/telemetry unit with mixed acuity patients, including occasional ICU-level cases.
• Night shifts, 12-hour shifts 1830-0700; 3x12 schedule with additional weekend coverage.
• Weekend rotation required; standby call as needed.
• Floating as needed; patient ratio 1:3-6.
• Uses Cerner charting system for documentation.
• Provide nursing care for cardiac telemetry and mixed acuity PCU/stepdown patients.
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted.
• Telemetry exam includes adult and pediatric components.

• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in med/surg and PCU required
• Inpatient RN travelers must have 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty
• First-time travelers must have at least 3 years of experience in a hybrid unit
• Must pass a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to assignment start
• Cerner EMR experience required

• Night shift, 12-hour shifts (1830-0700), 3x12 schedule (4x12 schedule considered for additional weekend coverage)
• Weekend rotation required
• Standby call required as needed

• Provide nursing care for cardiac telemetry and mixed acuity PCU/stepdown patients
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates not accepted
• Every other holiday coverage required
• Telemetry exam includes adult and pediatric components requiring 80% or higher passing scores with strict criteria on lethal rhythm identification
• Up to two attempts allowed for telemetry exam; a third attempt requires completion of a cardiac interpretation review course
• First-time travelers considered only with sufficient hybrid unit experience
