American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced Telemetry RN for a hospital day-shift contract in Naperville, IL. This role requires prior travel nursing experience and Epic proficiency, with 12-hour day shifts and 36 hours per week.

Active IL RN license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and at least 2 years of acute care hospital experience are required. 1 travel assignment, 2 references, and birth date are needed for consideration.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license is required.
• Current BLS (American Heart or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience with at least 1 completed travel assignment.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Date of birth required for consideration.
• Two professional references required, with one from the most recent travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital Telemetry unit setting in Naperville, IL.
• 12-hour day shifts beginning at 07:00, 36 hours per week.
• Every other weekend required.
• No on-call requirements.
• Priority float to like units.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Provide telemetry nursing care within an acute care hospital environment.
• Must work 1-2 holidays during the contract.
• Facility conducts a 10-15 minute interview as part of the hiring process.
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this role.
• Returning staff must have been away for at least 12 months to be considered as a traveler.
• RTO limited to a maximum of 3 days for 8-week contracts.
• Local candidates accepted at a 50-mile radius.
