Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position in South Carolina. Requires SC or compact RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, and at least 2 years of RN experience.

Telemetry duties include cardiac monitoring and emergent response on the 5 South unit. Night shifts are 3x12 hours (18:45–7:15) with every other weekend. Floating to other MS units as needed; local candidates welcome at the same bill rate.

Qualifications

• Active SC or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes, high flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, and tracheostomy care preferred
• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation/management skills required
• Experience with IV therapy/phlebotomy including starting and maintaining IVs
• Isolation precautions and PPE knowledge required

Responsibilities

• Work on the Telemetry unit (5 South)
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift, 3x12 hours (18:45-7:15)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to other MS units as needed
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Provide cardiac telemetry monitoring and emergency response for MS/Tele and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown patient populations
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate with no radius rule
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Staff RNs previously employed at the facility cannot return as travelers
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration
