Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry RN for a night shift in an acute care hospital. Requires Epic charting experience, SC or compact RN license, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of telemetry nursing with travel nursing background.

Responsibilities include 1:5 patient ratios, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shifts, every other weekend, with holiday coverage. You may float to sister facilities; hurricane relief could apply. No on-call duties and Royal Blue scrubs required.

Qualifications

• Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only).
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year telemetry nursing experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Epic charting system experience required.
• 1:5 patient ratio experience required.
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, dysrhythmia interpretation and IV therapy/phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Telemetry care in acute care hospital setting.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6.
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 3x12 hours.
• Work every other weekend; holiday coverage as needed.
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs; including sister facilities.
• No on-call requirements; use Epic charting system.
• Provide telemetry nursing care including monitoring and dysrhythmia management.
• Adhere to facility dress code and travel policies.
• During hurricane season, participate in emergency response teams.
• Block scheduling may be arranged with manager approval.

• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for consideration
• Block scheduling may be accommodated with manager approval, depending on unit needs
