American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for a Gero Psych position in Mississippi. The role requires 5+ years of nursing experience and at least 1 year of inpatient hospital experience.

Active RN license (Standard or Compact) is required. Inpatient psychiatric and senior care experience are highly preferred. Travel status requires living more than 50 miles from the facility, with a 3/2 schedule and overtime after 48 hours.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required (Standard or Compact).
• Minimum 5 years of recent nursing experience.
• At least 1 year of inpatient hospital experience.
• Inpatient psychiatric experience highly preferred.
• Senior care experience highly preferred.
• ANCC Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Certification preferred.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Psych DPU unit of a hospital setting.
• Gero Psychiatric patient population.
• Days shift, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, on a 3/2 split schedule (4 shifts one week, 3 the next).
• Overtime applies after 48 hours.
• Provide nursing care to gero psychiatric patients in an inpatient setting.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position.
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week.
• Previous CHS facility employees who worked as permanent staff within the last 2 years will not be considered.
