Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN - Psychiatric for a 13-week acute inpatient assignment in Pennsylvania. Requires 1 year of BH/Psych experience and an active PA or compact RN license.

The unit includes four 24-bed housing units and a new 96-bed facility with a second 31-bed unit. Night shift; 12-hour shifts 7p–7:30a, weekends/holidays as assigned; EPIC EMR in use; travel perks include housing and reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Active PA RN license or compact license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in behavioral health/psych required
• Handle With Care Psych certification can be obtained on-site; candidates should provide current certifications they hold

Responsibilities

• Acute inpatient behavioral health hospital with four 24-bed housing units, including one dedicated to children and adolescents
• Brand new facility with 96 total beds, recently expanded to a second 31-bed unit with plans for further growth
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7p-7:30a, with weekends and holidays as assigned
• Uses EPIC EMR
• 13-week contract assignment
• Located in a rural area with limited rideshare options
• Candidates should have patience as the facility is newly integrated onto the Geisinger platform with Acadia Healthcare
• 30-mile radius rule applies for local versus travel pay rates
