American Traveler is hiring a Behavioral Health RN for an Adult Psychiatric unit, requiring Cerner experience and an active AR or compact RN license.

The role features a 13-week travel assignment, day shift from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and every-other-weekend coverage, with housing and licensure reimbursements provided.

Qualifications

• Active AR state or multistate RN license is required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of behavioral health RN experience.
• Cerner EMR experience is required.
• SAMA certification required, can be completed at the facility if needed.
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of start.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult psychiatric patients.
• Work on the Adult Psychiatric unit within a hospital setting.
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Every other weekend is required.
• Use Cerner EMR for documentation.
• 13-week travel assignment.
• Holiday RTO cannot be guaranteed.
• RTO requests must be less than one week.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rates.
• Travelers who worked as perm staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
