Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU in Weirton, West Virginia for a 13-week assignment. You will join a dedicated clinical team, handling stepdown care with a focus on telemetry and cardiac patient management.

The position requires 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, WV RN license, BLS and ACLS. Travel benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive coverage, with shifts of 12 hours overnight.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN (RN)
• Current RN license valid in WV or applicable state
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vitals and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed cardiac medications and treatments.
• Assists with cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient comfort, safety and telemetry monitoring.
• Documents patient status and notifies clinicians as needed.
• Participates in education plans for cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with the care team for comprehensive telemetry care.
