Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Weirton, West Virginia. The ideal candidate will be an experienced RN with Stepdown/PCU expertise and strong cardiac monitoring skills.

This 13-week contract offers 12-hour day shifts, weekends as scheduled, and a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. ARMStaffing provides benefits, onboarding support, clinical assistance, a 401k plan, travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Stepdown/PCU.
• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and administration of cardiac drips.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care and monitoring for patients with cardiac conditions.
• Administer medications and titrate drips as needed (e.g., cardizem, amiodarone, nitroglycerin, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, angiomax).
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist with ADLs, vital signs, bathing, toileting, feeding, and repositioning.
• Interpret telemetry and print EKG strips when necessary.
