Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Weirton, WV. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive clinical team. Start ASAP with 36 hours per week and night shifts in a Weirton facility.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. PCCN/NIHSS and other licenses may be preferred. This travel position includes benefits and ongoing recruiter support.

Qualifications

One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
Prepares equipment and assists with cardiac-related procedures.
Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients.
Documents nursing history and physical assessment for telemetry patients.
Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications.
Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Adheres to hospital safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
