Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Morgantown, WV. The role offers an opportunity to care for patients transitioning from critical care to medical-surgical units.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of stepdown experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS. This travel position provides competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry data, vital signs and respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed meds and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Document nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiate patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care.
