Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Wheeling, West Virginia. The role focuses on telemetry patient care with 12-hour night shifts and 36 hours per week, offering competitive compensation and full benefits.

The ideal candidate holds 1 year of Stepdown experience, an active RN license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. PCCN or NIHSS certifications are a plus. You will work with a dedicated clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors cardiac rhythms and vital signs and responds to abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Aids physician during cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Maintains comfort and safety of telemetry patients.
• Documents patient status and notifies supervisor or physician of changes.
