Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. This Stepdown RN role offers a 36-hour workweek with 12-hour nights, and a chance to deliver patient-centered care across telemetry units while enjoying travel benefits.

You will monitor cardiac rhythms, administer meds, and collaborate with the care team to support patients transitioning from ICU to general floors.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health.
