Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. Start date 10/26/2026, with 48 hours per week on 12-hour nights, providing skilled Stepdown care in a progressive unit.

You will monitor telemetry, administer cardiac medications, and collaborate with a clinical team to ensure safe, patient-centered care while enjoying travel benefits and dedicated support from Fusion recruiters.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience
• Current RN license in Nebraska
• BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• PCCN Certification preferred
• NIHSS Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms and respond to abnormalities
• Administer prescribed medications and cardiac treatments
• Assist with cardiac procedures and examinations
• Maintain patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients
• Document nursing history and assessments
• Educate patients on cardiac health and risk factors
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team
• Maintain patient confidentiality
