Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Responsibilities
- Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs and telemetry data
- Administrates medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care
- Prepares equipment and aids physician during cardiac procedures
- Maintains awareness of comfort and safety of telemetry patients
- Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients
- Initiates patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for telemetry patients
- Adheres to hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards
