Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Omaha, NE. The role involves telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Start date is 10/05/2026 with 36 hours per week on a night shift.

Requirements include 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Preferred PCCN and NIHSS certifications may be considered. Travel benefits and competitive pay provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred: PCCN Certification, NIHSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry data to detect abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments focused on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety and document status.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
