Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU — Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. The role requires a Stepdown RN with AR state licensure, BLS and ACLS, and at least one year of relevant experience.

The RN will work 36 hours weekly on 12-hour night shifts, providing high-level care, telemetry monitoring, and collaboration with the care team. Travel benefits and a competitive package are included.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license and compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) and NIHSS are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms.
• Administers prescribed medications with a focus on cardiac care.
• Assists physicians during cardiac procedures and exams.
• Documents patient status and nursing history; communicates changes.
• Educates patients on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications.
