Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Saint Joseph, MO. The RN will provide care transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, focusing on telemetry and cardiac monitoring. Requirements include 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, MO RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. PCCN/NIHSS are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) and ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry data; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Assist with cardiac procedures and patient care coordination.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle.
• Document patient status and care plans accurately.
