Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Saint Joseph, MO. The position offers a 12-hour night shift and a 36-hour work week, with travel benefits and comprehensive support from a dedicated clinical team.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Start date is 10/06/2026, with a travel employment type and a focus on high-quality, patient-centered cardiac care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data; respond to abnormalities
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care
• Prepares equipment and assists physician during cardiac-related procedures
• Maintains safety and comfort of telemetry patients
• Documents patient conditions and notifies supervisor/physician of status and interventions
• Adheres to safety protocols and infection control guidelines
