Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Saint Louis, MO. The role centers on monitoring and managing cardiac patients transitioning from ICU, with 12-hour night shifts and 36 hours per week. Superior clinical skills and MO RN licensure required.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in MO.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred PCCN or NIHSS certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vitals, and telemetry; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol with cardiac focus.
• Assist with cardiac procedures and maintain patient safety.
• Document assessments and nursing history for telemetry patients.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risks, and lifestyle changes.
