Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Lees Summit, MO. You will provide care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, monitor telemetry, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires 1 year of STEP-DOWN RN experience, NB licensure, and BLS/ACLS certification. Travel benefits include competitive pay and day-one medical coverage.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Active RN license in good standing
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Preferred PCCN Certification
• NIHSS Certification

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and vital signs; respond to abnormalities
• Administer prescribed meds and cardiac treatments
• Assist physician during cardiac procedures and exams
• Maintain patient comfort and safety; educate patients on cardiac health
• Document assessments and patient responses; report changes
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care
