TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Saint Joseph, Missouri. The PCU RN will provide bedside care, monitor cardiac patients, and manage medications in a high-paced travel assignment.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of acute care experience and hold ACLS/BLS certifications. This travel role requires 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week, 13-week duration, and a focus on progressive care/stepdown nursing.

Qualifications

• PCU RN with 1–2 years recent acute care experience preferred.
• ACLS and BLS required; additional certifications may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor patient condition and vital signs, titrate medications as ordered.
• Handle IVs, dressings, catheter care, and medication administration.
• Operate and interpret telemetry and monitoring equipment; respond to alarms.
