Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel Stepdown RN to join our 13-week assignment in Pittsburgh, PA. You will provide high-acuity care to patients transitioning from ICU to a medical-surgical setting, with emphasis on telemetry, medications, and patient safety.

The role requires 1 year of Stepdown experience, active RN license in PA, and BLS/ACLS. This travel position offers competitive pay, benefits, and dedicated clinical support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in PA compliance with state regulations.
• BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) is required.
• ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC) is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and vital signs, acting on abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with cardiac focus.
• Aids physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
