Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week travel assignment in Honesdale, PA. This role offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Requirements include one year of Stepdown RN experience, active PA RN licensure, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. PCCN/NIHSS preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations (PA).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, telemetry, vital signs and respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Assist physician during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Document patient status, nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risk factors and lifestyle modifications.
