Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN for a 13-week assignment in Johnstown, PA. The role is a Stepdown RN with 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours weekly, and a focus on cardiac care as patients transition from ICU. You will join a dedicated clinical team and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package.

Required are 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Preferred PCCN/NIHSS credentials may be considered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health, risks, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry patient care.
