Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Rochester, NY. The clinician will provide specialized care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, with emphasis on telemetry monitoring and cardiac care.

Requires 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred PCCN and NIHSS certifications. Eligible for competitive pay and benefits, with support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administer prescribed meds and treatments focused on cardiac care.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Provide patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
