Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN PCU (Progressive Care Unit) for an 18-week assignment in Omaha, NE. The role features 12-hour nights, 48 hours per week, and a focus on telemetry and cardiac care. Start ASAP with a travel employment type through Fusion Medical Staffing.

The candidate should have 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. PCCN and NIHSS are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Active RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred PCCN Certification, NIHSS Certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and vital signs; responds to abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Assists physicians during cardiac procedures and exams.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history, assessments, and responses to interventions.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care.
