Job summary

American Traveler, LLC offers a PACU/Pre-Op RN position in a Level 3 trauma hospital in Arizona. Requires an active AZ or Compact RN license and at least 2 years of RN experience.

Responsibilities include 8-bed 1:1 patient care in Pre-Op, Cerner EHR use, and no floating. Shift is 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM with every other weekend; call required. Travel and licensure reimbursements are available.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience required.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA).
• Must provide Social Security number and date of birth for consideration.
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Op unit supporting the OR in a Level 3 trauma hospital.
• 8-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratios.
• Patient population includes geriatric, adult, and minimal pediatric cases.
• Shift runs 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM with every other weekend required.
• Call requirements apply.
• No floating required.
• Uses Cerner EHR.
• Provide perioperative nursing care in the Pre-Op area supporting OR cases.
• Team player who works well under pressure.
• Orientation held every 2nd and 4th Monday.
• Black scrubs provided by the hospital; artificial nails not permitted.
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible.
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months.
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment.
