Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a RN for a Pre/Post Op position in Texas. This is a 13-week contract requiring 1 year of recent specialty experience and an active TX or compact RN license, plus BLS certification. Day shift 9:00 AM–5:30 PM; housing allowance and travel reimbursements included. Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Travel experience preferred. High pay with bonuses and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and per diem options.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Pre/Post Op or related specialty experience.
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted).
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start.
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based short stay Pre & Post Op unit.
• 13-week contract assignment.
• Day shift schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Provide nursing care to patients in a pre-operative and post-operative short stay setting.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position.
