Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Surgical RN for a Pre/Post/PACU role in Montana. A MT or compact RN license and a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience are required.

The position is a day shift (06:30–17:00) in a critical access hospital, with call obligations one night per week and one weekend per month. Responsibilities include Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU care across General, Urology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, OB/GYN, Endoscopy, and Pain Management cases.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications preferred.
• EMR documentation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Critical access hospital setting providing Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU care
• Surgical patient population spans General, Urology, Ortho Spine, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, OB/GYN, Endoscopy, and Pain Management cases
• Patients span the full age spectrum with varying acuities
• Day shift schedule from 06:30 to 17:00
• Call requirement of one night per week and one weekend per month
• Possible on-call responsibilities for holiday coverage
• Provide professional nursing care to surgical patients across pre-op, post-op, and PACU phases
• Evaluate the nursing process and document findings in the EMR
• Collaborate with ancillary staff and communicate with providers and coworkers regarding patient conditions
