Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU assignment in Wisconsin. Active WI or compact RN license is required, along with BLS and ACLS; PALS preferred. Epic charting experience and successful completion of a telemetry exam are required.

Travel RN experience and willingness to commit to a 13-week 4x10 schedule are essential. The role features no on-call requirements, a 1:2 patient ratio, and day/evening shifts from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Active WI or compact RN license is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS are required; PALS preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of PACU/Recovery room experience within the last 3 years.
• Epic charting system experience required, preferably within the past 12 months.
• Must pass telemetry exam prior to starting, including adult and pediatric rhythm interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Work in the PACU unit of a hospital setting.
• 13-week assignment with 4x10 hour day/evening shifts (7:00 AM–8:00 PM), Monday–Friday.
• No on-call requirements; floating as needed.
• 1:2 patient ratio; Epic EMR experience required.
• Provide perianesthesia care including airway management, ventilated patient care, and cardiac monitoring.
• Experience with bariatrics, ENT, general, gyn, neuro/spine, ortho, ophthalmology, and urology preferred.
• Administer emergency meds, vasopressors, antiarrhythmics, and reversal agents.
• Familiar with general, spinal, MAC, and nerve blocks anesthesia types.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility; local candidates not accepted.
• Free onsite parking available.

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required, PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of PACU/Recovery room experience required within the last 3 years
• Epic charting system experience required, preferably within the past 12 months
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to starting, including adult and pediatric rhythm interpretation with strict passing criteria
• Previous travel RN experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
