American Traveler is hiring a CVOR RN Circulator for Open Heart Surgery in Indiana, requiring 2 years of open heart experience and IN or Compact RN licensure.

This 12-bed unit operates on a 6:45 AM–3:15 PM day shift with on-call duties for weeknights and weekends. Cerner EMR is used; healing requests require blue scrubs. Housing and travel considerations apply for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Active RN license IN or Compact required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of Open Heart experience required.
• Additional experience in Ortho, Neuro, DaVinci Robot, General, Gyn or Podiatry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate in the OR setting supporting Open Heart Surgery cases.
• Work on a 12-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratio.
• Work day shift from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM.
• On-call required for weeknights and weekends.
• Must not float.
• Use Cerner EMR for charting and records.
• Serve as Circulator RN supporting Open Heart Surgery procedures.
• Surgical blue scrub color required.

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Open Heart experience required
• Additional experience in Ortho, Neuro, DaVinci Robot, General, Gyn, or Podiatry is a plus
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start

Responsibilities

• Operating Room setting supporting Open Heart Surgery cases
• 12-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• On-call required for weeknights and weekends
• Must not float
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Serve as Circulator RN supporting Open Heart Surgery procedures
• Surgical blue scrub color required
• Holiday coverage required for the week of Christmas
• Maximum RTO request of 1 week, with requests required to be less than 1 week
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Candidates must not have gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Previous CHS facility staff employed as permanent staff within the last 2 years will not be considered
