Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 3 years of recent full-time CVOR circulator experience in a high-volume hospital.
• Proficiency in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures required.
• Ability to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments.
• Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start.
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Work within a CVOR service line comprised of 4-6 operating rooms, including an endovascular suite.
• Support cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures including CABG, valve repair/replacement, aortic dissection, heart transplantation, VAD placement, TAVR, and ECMO.
• Facility has capacity for up to four concurrent procedures requiring cardiopulmonary bypass.
• 13-week assignment with a schedule of three shifts (0645-1915) covering Saturday/Sunday plus one weekday (Monday or Tuesday).
• Position is primarily weekend coverage with voluntary call participation.
• Candidates must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address.
• Radius rule applies allowing local candidates at a reduced rate, varying by state.
• First-time travelers are not likely to be considered given the experience level required.
