Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a CVOR role within a Level 1 trauma hospital. Must hold an ND or compact RN license, BLS/ACLS, and have independent CVOR circulation experience.

You will circulate CV cases in a 25-room OR with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, using Epic (OpTime). Ten-hour days with on-call rotations and in-house orientation support are provided.

Qualifications

• Active ND or compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of CV OR experience
• Large hospital/Level 1 trauma center experience
• Epic experience

Responsibilities

• Circulate CV cases independently in the OR
• Work in a 25-room OR with 1:1 nurse to patient ratio
• Use Epic (OpTime) charting system
• 10-hour day shifts with rotating on-call
• Floats to other OR specialties when CV cases are not scheduled
• Circulate cardiovascular surgical cases and support other OR areas
• On-site OR orientation coordinated by an educator

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting within a Level 1 trauma hospital's Cardiovascular OR (CVOR)
• Circulate CV cases independently in the OR
• 25-room OR department with a 1:1 nurse to patient ratio
• Uses Epic (OpTime) charting system
• 10-hour day shifts with rotating off-site call
• On-call support available with other OR staff in house
• Floats to other OR specialties when CV cases are not scheduled
• Circulates cardiovascular surgical cases and supports other OR specialties as needed
• OR orientation coordinated by an OR educator upon arrival to determine individual orientation needs
• Scrubs provided in Ceil Blue color
• All clinicians required to badge in and out at the facility
• Accepts candidates living 61 to 80 miles from the facility at a reduced rate
• Not accepting candidates living within 60 miles of the facility
• Previous Sanford Health employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to consideration
