American Traveler is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a PACU/Recovery Room position. The role requires 5+ years of PACU experience and an active RN license valid in Indiana or a Compact state. The unit supports a 10-bed PACU with a 2:1 patient ratio for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.

Familiarity with EPIC EMR is expected. Shifts are Monday through Friday with start times between 6:30am and 10am, based on surgery schedules; weekends are call-only with 5–6 shifts per month.

Qualifikationen

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) required.
• 5+ years of recent experience required.
• PACU experience required.

Aufgaben

• Work in the Post Anesthesia/Recovery Room (PACU) unit of a hospital setting.
• 10-bed unit with a 2:1 patient ratio.
• Patient population includes all ages, including pediatrics.
• Uses defibrillator, ultrasound for blocks, and Phillips monitors (no ventilator in unit).
• Epic EMR used.
• Monday-Friday rotating shifts, starting between 6:30am-10am depending on surgery schedule.
• Weekend shifts are call-only.
• Call requirement of 5-6 shifts per month, covering weekdays 7pm-7am or weekends 7am-7am.
• No floating required.
• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care across a variety of surgical cases.
• Ceil blue scrubs provided.
• First day consists of orientation.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius to qualify for the standard travel bill rate; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate.
