American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position in Pensacola, FL. The role requires 2+ years of PACU nursing and mid-shift availability, with a 13-week assignment and a 40-hour workweek from 11:00 to 21:30.

Active RN license (FL or Compact), BLS/PALS/ACLS, and Nursys verification within 30 days are required. Weekend shifts and call rotations are included; local candidates may receive a reduced rate within the facility radius rule.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (FL or Compact)
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, and ACLS (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of PACU nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Responsibilities

• Work in the PACU Recovery Room of a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment with a mid-shift schedule from 11:00 to 21:30, 40 hours per week
• Requires 4-12 call shifts within a 6-week rotating schedule
• Weekend shifts as needed
• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to patients in the PACU
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Candidates should discuss extension opportunities with management 45 days before assignment end date
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate per facility radius rule
