American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced OR RN with circulating experience for a 13-week Days assignment in Illinois. Candidates must hold an active IL RN license and have at least 2 years of OR circulating experience, with BLS certification.

The role covers heavy Ortho/Urology/Spine/Robotic procedures, with 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, 0800-1830. Call required, and there may be facility float. Excellent benefits and travel support provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate in OR setting within a hospital.

• Handle heavy Ortho, Urology, Spine, and Robotic procedures.
• Independently circulate in the OR.
• Assist with patient assessments and care planning with the team.
• Provide patient and family education and instructions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and participate in CEUs.
• Contribute to a positive workplace environment.

Requirements

• Verified circulating experience required prior to consideration

Responsibilities

• Operating Room setting within a hospital
• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, scheduled 0800-1830
• Heavy Ortho, Urology, Spine, and Robotic surgical procedures
• Must be able to independently circulate in the OR
• Call required including 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days per month, potentially more based on department need
• May float to other facilities as needed
• Assess patients' mental, physical, and spiritual needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Provide patient and family education and instructions
• Utilize clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records
• Participate in continuing education
• Contribute to a positive workplace environment through professional communication and conflict management
