Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with circulating experience in ortho, spine and neuro surgeries for a hospital assignment.

This travel position requires an active CT or Compact RN license, 4–5 years of OR experience, and circulating duties. It offers 10-hour shifts, 40-hour weeks, rotating weekends/holidays, and on-call requirements with potential overtime; local vs travel rate varies by distance from the facility.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (CT or Compact) required.
• 4–5 years of Operating Room RN experience or combined OR experience required.
• Circulating experience required.
• Scrub experience preferred.
• Experience independently performing circulating duties for ortho, spine, and neuro surgeries required.
• Skills checklist required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room unit of a hospital setting.
• 10-hour day shift schedule with staggered start times (7:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM).
• 40 hours per week with no block scheduling.
• Rotating weekends and holidays required.
• On-call responsibilities required at least one weekend per month.
• 30-minute report time for on-call shifts.
• Mandatory overtime as part of the unit's rotation pool for coverage needs.
• Function as part of the OR team, assisting with ortho, spine, and neuro procedures.
• All time off requests must be submitted prior to consideration.
• Local candidates accepted within 75 miles at a lower bill rate.
• Candidates residing outside the local radius are eligible for the travel rate.
