Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Colorado. Requires active CO or compact RN licensure, plus recent OR experience and current BLS/ACLS certifications.

You will work in a hospital OR suite, with robotic surgery system exposure (DaVinci preferred) and joint replacement cases. Prior travel experience is welcomed; first-time travelers encouraged.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (CO or compact) currently in hand.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR RN experience.
• Total joint experience at level II/III facility preferred.
• Experience with robotic systems such as DaVinci preferred.
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days in past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 4-OR surgical suite plus 1 endoscopy room in a hospital.
• Unit staffed with 4 RNs, 3 CSTs, and 1 PRN RN.
• Day shift 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; no night shifts.
• Call Monday–Thursday 5:00 PM–6:00 AM; usually 1–2 nights/week.
• Uses Stryker, Mako, and Globus equipment.
• Charts in Meditech EMR.
• Performs ortho/spine, joint replacements, scrubbing, laparoscopic cases.
• Collaborative, team-oriented unit culture.
• Must reside >50 miles from facility; first-time travelers welcome.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent OR experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR RN experience required
• Total joint experience at a level II or III facility preferred
• Experience with robotic surgery systems such as DaVinci preferred
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Work in a 4-OR surgical suite plus 1 endoscopy room within a hospital setting
• Unit staffed with 4 full-time RNs, 3 full-time CSTs, and 1 PRN RN
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no night shift coverage
• Call required Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM, typically one to two nights per week
• Uses Stryker, Mako, and Globus surgical equipment
• Charts in Meditech EMR
• Performs procedures including ortho and spine surgeries, joint replacements and scrubbing, and laparoscopic cases
• Collaborative, team-oriented personality is ideal for this unit
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this assignment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
