American Traveler is hiring a Stepdown RN for a night shift Progressive Care/CVU role in Michigan. Requires active MI RN license, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of stepdown experience with strong cardiac skills.

The role includes night hours 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, weekend rotation, and potential on-call duties, with local travelers within 35 miles receiving adjusted pay. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), and CEU access.

Qualifications

• Active MI RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of Stepdown experience required.
• Proficiency in cardiac care required.

Responsibilities

• Care for 28-bed Medical Surgical/Stepdown unit patients (general, vascular, bariatric, plastic, trauma, stroke).
• Cares for over 4000 cardiology patients annually with procedures like PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and pacemakers.
• Night shift 7:00 PM–7:00 AM with occasional on-call and every other weekend.
• Float to similar units as needed and provide direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team.
