Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel assignment in Petoskey, Michigan. The Step Down Unit handles post-procedure cardiac care with monitoring for high-acuity patients, including those recovering from PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers.

The RN will work nights on a 12-hour schedule, minimum 36 hours per week, with travel benefits and housing options. Michigan license, ACLS/BLS, and 1+ year Step Down experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan nursing license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1+ year Step Down Unit experience.
• Proficiency in cardiac care and telemetry.
• Ability to float to similar units and cover travel assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for postoperative cardiac patients on a Step Down unit.
• Monitor and manage patients with PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and related devices.
• Float to similar units as needed and support travel assignment coverage.
