American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Step Down for a cardiology unit. ACLS-certified and with 18 months of specialty experience in the past 3 years are required. The unit handles post-CABG patients with chest tubes and uses LVAD training as applicable.

The role offers 24-hour care on a 24-hour post CABG unit, with patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5 and night shifts totaling 36 hours per week. Start date appears Oct 19, 2026, and a 13-week assignment is planned.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required.
• Active GA or Compact RN license required.
• Minimum 18 months of specialty experience in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient ratios 1:4 or 1:5.
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours/week.
