Qualifications

• BLS Certification is required.
• Active RN license required.
• Experience: eighteen months in Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and signs/symptoms; use nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collect, analyze and document data; identify nursing diagnoses.
• Document the plan of care with expected outcomes and interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education.
• Revise and update the plan of care as needed.
