American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring an experienced RN for a 13-week Travel Nurse position in Kalamazoo, MI (Stepdown/Intermediate Care). The role requires 2 years of recent RN experience, MI license, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS). Night shifts, 3x12 hours, with floating to meet facility needs.

The unit features a 22-bed stepdown environment with telemetry, neuro and cardiovascular care. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles away; on-site facility access provided.

Qualifications

• Active MI RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, neuro stepdown, and PCU/DOU/IMC care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide intermediate-level nursing care to a stepdown patient population.
• Care for neurological, cardiovascular and post-surgical patients.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and patient assessments.
• Float to units based on census and staffing needs; nights, 3x12hrs.
