American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac PCU/Stepdown RN for a night shift travel assignment in Michigan, requiring MI licensure and PCU/stepdown or cardiac experience. The role features 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and a 13-week duration.

Eligible candidates must have an active MI RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, plus a minimum of 1 year PCU/stepdown experience and 2+ years RN experience. An associate degree in nursing is required and Nursys verification is required at time of

Qualifications

• Active MI RN license required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications required).
• Minimum 1 year of PCU or stepdown experience required.
• Minimum 2+ years of overall RN experience required.
• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Experience with cardiac patient populations, chest tubes, cardiac monitoring, and cardiac drips required.
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to cardiac and stepdown telemetry patients including chest tube management and cardiac drip administration.
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Patient population includes cardiac and stepdown/PCU level of care with telemetry monitoring.
• Maintain patient safety and high-quality care in a fast-paced unit.
• Floating and weekend coverage as needed.
• Cerner EHR used for documentation.
